We're Hiring a Market Manager for the 2025 Season

We support local farmers, artisans, and vendors, offering a vibrant and sustainable marketplace. Join our team to help manage and grow one of the region’s most beloved farmers markets.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Farmers Market Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farmers market. The ideal candidate will be passionate about local food, sustainability, and community engagement. As the Farmers Market Manager, you will be responsible for managing vendor relations, ensuring market operations run smoothly, and helping to grow the market’s presence and impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the farmers market, including setting up and breaking down the market.

· Manage vendor relationships, including communication, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with market rules and regulations.

· Serve as the point of contact for vendors, customers, and the public during market hours as well as out of market hours

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.

· Assist with organizing events and activities to enhance the market’s visibility and community engagement.

· Assist with the collection of Vendor fees and City Taxes.

· Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in market management, event planning, or community outreach is preferred.

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of local agriculture, sustainability practices, or the food industry is a plus.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Must be able to lift and carry market materials and supplies (up to 40 lbs). A vehicle to assist you with this is recommended. 

· Available to work every Saturday between April 27 and October 4, 2025.
